Hauora: Manaia's Home Workout with Mum

This week I have been learning about Hauora.

I have been watching videos about getting outside and doing different exercises that make you fit and gets your body moving.

So I picked 6 exercise moves that you can do, back to back with no rest.

Jumping Jacks x 10

Shuttle Runs x 10

Bear Crawl x 2

Squat Claps x 10

Hopping between points x 2 (1 leg then 2 legs)

Sit-up Claps x 10



My favorite exercise was the SIT-UPS because it was also fun to clap hands with my mum while exercising.

  3. Manaia, what a great way to improve your fitness. It was also lovely to see how you did this with your Mum so that you were supporting each other while you did it too.
